Police cars and ambulances and other emergency vehicles has for a long time been able to drive as fast as they wanted. To avoid that, and for economic reasons, a top speed limiter was therefore requested.

Today many Blue Light vehicles are equipped with the E-Cruise top speed limiter, that’s activated until the moment where the blue light/emergency light is turned on. The top speed limiter is then switched off or another speed limiter setting is set in the vehicle.

By installing the E-Cruise top speed limiter the wear and tear on the vehicles is reduced at the same reducing the fuel consumption.
